  • Procedure

            NOTE : One working remote transmitter must be available to perform this procedure.

 

1.    Ensure vehicle ignition is OFF and key is removed.

 

2.    Ensure you have a working remote transmitter and the new un-programmed remote transmitter.

 

3.    At the rear of the vehicle, locate the key cylinder on the drivers side fascia/bumper. It maybe hidden by a rectangular pop out cover.

 

4.    OPEN the TRUNK/BOOT.

 

5.    Insert key into lock and turn 5 times within 5 seconds.

 

6.  The DIC (Driver Information Centre) will display : READY FOR FOB 2, 3 or 4.

 

7.    Put the new un- programmed remote transmitter in the transmitter holder with the buttons facing the passenger door, this is located in the glove box.

 

8.    A BEEP will sound when the remote transmitter is programmed.

 

9.    The DIC will display READY FOR FOB 2,3 or 4 or MAX FOBS LEARNED.

 

10.  PRESS the ACC button to exit programming mode.

 

11. Check remote for correct operation.
