1.    Make sure ignition is OFF.

2.    Select Remote Functions from menu, and communicate with vehicle.

NOTE : The system requires diagnostic equipment to communicate with the ECU only, and then a manual

procedure is used to program remote control. Without the communication the remote controls cannot be

programmed.

3.    Select PROGRAM REMOTES on the diagnostic equipment being used.

4.    Do not turn ignition ON when asked by the diagnostic equipment.

5.    Follow the procedure on the diagnostic equipment until it asks you to Program remotes.

6.    Switch Ignition to position 2 and back to OFF position.

7.    HOLD both buttons of remote control down for 3.5 seconds. The hazard lights should flash once.

8.    Wait for 2 seconds.

9.    Press one of the buttons on the remote control and the horn should sound.

10. Now normal procedure for adding other remote controls can be followed by following steps 7 to 9.
