FITTED REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY PROGRAMMING
NOTE : Maximum of 8 remote
transmitters can be programmed.
NOTE : From 1998 MY the remote transmitters were updated from BLACK to GREY. The new GREY remote transmitters will not work on
the older vehicles.
ADD
REMOTE TRANSMITTER
1. Locate the RS3000 ECU.
The ECU
locations are as follows :
4runner(1999MY) : Behind panel right hand side of steering wheel, older
models under drivers seat.
Avalon : Under passenger seat.
Camry (1998/1999MY) Older models located under drivers seat.
Celica : Under drivers seat.
Corolla : Under drivers seat.
RAV4 : Under drivers seat.
Sienna : Behind panel right hand side of steering wheel.
Solara : Centre console in storage compartment.
T100 : Under drivers seat.
Tacoma : Under drivers seat.
Tercal :
Under drivers seat.
2. Insert ignition key, and turn
ON.
3. PRESS and HOLD the ECU PROGRAMMING SWITCH for 3 seconds (Located on the side of the
ECU)
NOTE : The STATUS MONITOR LED will light
for 5 seconds.
NOTE : Please perform the next
step within 5 seconds.
4. PRESS and release either button on the remote transmitter.
NOTE : The STATUS MONITOR LED will turn OFF and the sounder will sound once.
5. Turn OFF the ignition,
the remote transmitter is now programmed.
ERASE
ALL REMOTE TRANSMITTERS
1. Insert ignition key, and turn
ON.
2. PRESS and HOLD the ECU PROGRAMMING SWITCH for 3 seconds (Located on the side of the
ECU)
NOTE : The STATUS MONITOR LED will light
for 5 seconds.
NOTE : Please perform the next
step within 5 seconds.
3. PRESS and HOLD the ECU PROGRAMMING SWITCH for 3 seconds.
NOTE : The STATUS MONITOR LED will flash 3 times, and the sounder will sound 3 times.
4. Turn ignition OFF, all remote
transmitters are now erased.
