2. Minimum 2 remote transmitters must be programmed.
ALARM
ECU REPLACEMENT/CODING PROCEDURE
NOTE : If a new alarm ECU is
fitted, it will remain in SLEEP MODE until a remote transmitter is
programed.
1. After installation of ECU,
the LED on the RESET switch will remain ON.
2. Insert key into the ignition and switch to ACCESSORY position.
3. PRESS and HOLD the RESET button.
4. REMOVE key from ignition while still HOLDING
the RESET button for at least 10 seconds.
5. INSERT key back into ignition and turn to ACCESSORY
position.
6. The alarm will beep twice.
7. RELEASE the RESET button, and then PRESS it ONCE.
8. PRESS the LOCK/ARM button on the first remote
transmitter the alarm will beep once.
9. PRESS the LOCK/ARM button on the second remote
transmitter the alarm will beep once.
10. Remove key from ignition and
check both remote transmitters for operation.
REMOTE
TRANSMITTER CODING PROCEDURE
NOTE : Ensure alarm system is disarmed with existing working remote
transmitter.
1. Insert key into the ignition and switch to ACCESSORY position.
2. PRESS and HOLD the RESET button.
3. REMOVE key from ignition while still HOLDING
the RESET button.
4. INSERT key back into ignition and turn to ACCESSORY
position, release RESET button and then PRESS once.
5. The LED will FLASH twice.
6. PRESS the LOCK/ARM button on the first remote
transmitter the alarm will beep once.
7. PRESS the LOCK/ARM button on the second remote
transmitter the alarm will beep once.
8. Remove key from ignition and
check both remote transmitters for operation.
NOTE : All existing remote transmitters will be erased from memory when the
new remote transmitters are coded into the system.
NOTE : A minimum of 2 and maximum
of 5 remote transmitters can be
programmed.
